How to use SYNQ

What we liked and where it tripped up

Advantages

• Quick uploads even on average broadband. A 2 GB clip reached the cloud in under four minutes during testing.
• Clear interface. Folder trees mirror local structure, so locating footage feels familiar.
• Real-time notifications. When a teammate replaced a clip, a small toast appeared within seconds.
• Smart conflict handling. If two editors touched the same file, SYNQ kept both versions and highlighted the difference.
• Built-in media player. Previewing 4K footage right in the browser saved downloading heavy files.

Drawbacks

• Mobile app lag. Scrolling through thumbnails on Android felt sluggish compared with desktop.
• Limited integrations. Only Premiere Pro and Final Cut plug-ins are ready; DaVinci users must export manually.
• No granular bandwidth throttle. Pausing sync is possible, but setting speed limits per connection is not.
• Price jump after the starter tier. Moving from 100 GB to the next plan doubles the monthly fee.

Our take

After a fortnight of daily use, I feel SYNQ nails the essentials of media sync and collaboration while still leaving room for polish in mobile performance and integration choice. If your team juggles large video assets and needs them in lockstep, the tool already offers solid value; just watch storage limits and roadmap commitments before fully committing.
