Rogo is an online data assistant that turns plain questions into polished charts, tables, and narrative summaries in seconds.

How to use Rogo

1. Sign up at rogodata.com and connect the spreadsheet, database, or CSV you want to explore.
2. Type a question in everyday language, such as “How did UK sales move last quarter?” and hit Enter.
3. Watch Rogo build a chart, write a short explanation, and suggest follow-up queries.
4. Adjust the visual style or tweak the calculation through the side panel if you need a different angle.
5. Share the live dashboard link with teammates, or export the output to a slide deck with one click.

What we discovered during testing

Advantages

• No-nonsense interface: I logged in and reached my first answer within five minutes, without reading any manual.
• Conversational queries work: Phrases like “show me the top three regions by revenue change” produced exactly the view I expected.
• Speed under load: Even a 750,000-row table came back with results in under ten seconds, which saved a good slice of my morning.
• Handy sharing: Clients accessed a live link and drilled into the numbers without needing an account, something a rival platform failed to provide.
• Transparent formula panel: Every chart reveals the SQL or formula behind it, making sign-off with finance teams far easier.

Drawbacks

• Limited integrations right now: I could hook up Google Sheets and Postgres, yet my Snowflake instance had to stay on the sidelines.
• Custom branding is basic: Logo upload works, colours are fixed to a single palette, which left our marketing team asking for more.
• Mobile view feels cramped: On a phone screen the side panel covers half the chart, forcing sideways scrolling.
• Alert rules are rigid: Threshold notifications fire only on whole numbers; percentage-based triggers would make them far more usable.
• Price jump after the starter tier: Moving from the free plan to the next level triples the monthly cost, a sticking point for smaller clients.
